FTLM Stages

We will begin by defining where the method starts and where the method ends. Subsequently we will describe the method at a high level.

Note: Our FTLM is Copy written and our patent is pending. The ideas and methods outlined in this brief are not available for use without the expressed written permission of an authorized DSA representative.

We have broken our method down in to the following stages that will describe where we start and where we end any Specific Action Project.

It is vital that the objectives established in any Specific Action Project tie directly back to Broad Action Program Objectives established by Operational Executives. These operational objectives should in turn be linked directly back to Strategic Goals developed as part of an ongoing Strategy management Process.

DSA realizes that many teams fail to trace back and integrate goals and objectives through these three stages. We also realize that many organizations lack a structured method for derivation of Strategic and Operational Plans. To that end, our FTLM begins with a structured process for managing strategy, creating and managing operational plans and threading the goals and objectives from these plans to the Specific Action Project Planning stage of work.

Note: We have seen a number of Specific Action Project teams fail to secure funding because they failed to thread their objectives all the way back to Strategic Goals.
